ANSI Cast Steel Flanged Globe Valve (Rising Stem, Handwheel Operated)

This ANSI/ASME-standard flanged globe valve provides precise throttling and reliable isolation for steam, water, oil, and process piping. The plug-type disc travels vertically onto the seat, allowing gradual flow area adjustment and superior regulation compared to gate valves. The rising stem gives clear visual indication of valve position. The streamlined body pattern directs flow through the valve with controlled pressure drop, and a cast-in flow arrow indicates the required installation direction (low-in, high-out).

The valve features a cast WCB carbon steel body, bolted bonnet, and raised-face flanged ends drilled to ASME B16.5. Seat and disc seating surfaces are 13Cr stainless steel or Stellite-overlaid for wear resistance and tight shut-off. A backseat allows stem packing replacement while the valve is under pressure. The yoke-type handwheel provides smooth operation, and the valve is suitable for frequent cycling and throttling duty.

Designed to ASME B16.34 / BS 1873 and tested per API 598. Body materials include WCB, LCC, WC6, WC9, CF8, and CF8M. Gear operators are fitted on large sizes. Electric or pneumatic actuation is available for automated flow control.
