Large-Bore Cast Steel Trunnion Ball Valve (Flanged, Worm-Gear Operated)

This large-bore trunnion-mounted ball valve is designed for mainline oil, gas, and process pipeline service where reliable isolation and low operating torque are critical at large sizes and high pressures. The fixed ball is supported on upper and lower trunnions, directing line pressure into the body bearings rather than the seats, which reduces operating torque, extends seat life, and enables tight bidirectional shut-off even on 16-inch and larger valves.

The valve features a split-body cast WCB construction with raised-face flanged ends drilled to ASME B16.5. A side-mounted worm-gear operator with large handwheel provides high reduction ratio for easy manual operation. Standard features include spring-loaded self-relieving seats, blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, seat grease injection fittings, body drain/vent connection, and a secondary stem seal. The valve is fire-safe capable and supports double-block-and-bleed operation.

Every valve is fully tested per API 598, including shell, high-pressure seat, and low-pressure gas seat tests. Designed to API 6D and ASME B16.34. Body materials include WCB, LCC, WC6, CF8, CF8M, and duplex. Seat options include RPTFE, Devlon, PEEK, and metal-to-metal. Electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation can be fitted in place of the gear operator.
