High-Pressure Forged Steel Trunnion Ball Valve (RTJ Flanged, Worm-Gear Operated)

This forged steel trunnion ball valve is engineered for severe high-pressure service in oil and gas production, wellhead manifolds, compressor stations, and high-pressure process piping. The three-piece forged body is machined from solid bar stock, providing uniform grain structure, heavy-wall integrity, and freedom from casting porosity. Ring-type joint (RTJ) flange ends deliver reliable metal gasket sealing under sustained high pressure and thermal cycling.

The trunnion-mounted ball is supported on fixed upper and lower stems, so line pressure is carried by the body bearings rather than the seats, resulting in low operating torque, extended seat life, and tight bidirectional shut-off. A side-mounted worm-gear operator with large handwheel provides high reduction ratio and smooth quarter-turn control. Standard features include spring-loaded self-relieving seats, blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, seat grease injection, body drain and vent, and an integral support base.

Every valve is fully tested per API 598 and designed to API 6D / ASME B16.34, with flanges per ASME B16.5. Body materials include A105, LF2, F11, F22, F304, F316, and duplex. Seat options include RPTFE, Devlon, PEEK, and metal-to-metal. Fire-safe construction to API 607 and NACE MR0175 sour-service configuration are available on request.
