Cast Steel Flanged Lift Check Valve (Globe Pattern)

This lift check valve automatically prevents reverse flow using a disc that rises vertically off the seat under forward flow and drops back by gravity and reverse pressure to close tightly. The globe-pattern body guides the disc along the valve centerline, ensuring accurate disc-to-seat alignment and reliable sealing. The valve operates automatically with no external power or actuator required.

Compared to swing check valves, the lift check design offers tighter shut-off and is less prone to disc slamming in clean media. The valve must be installed on horizontal piping with the cover facing upward so the disc moves freely under gravity. The cast WCB body features raised-face flanged ends, a bolted cover, and 13Cr stainless steel or Stellite-overlaid seating surfaces. A cast-in flow arrow indicates the required installation direction.

Designed to ASME B16.34 / GB/T 12235 and tested per API 598. Body materials include WCB, LCC, WC6, CF8, and CF8M. Typical applications include pump discharge, boiler feed water, steam systems, water treatment, and process piping handling clean liquids, gases, and steam where tight shut-off is essential.
