ANSI Lug-Type Triple-Offset Butterfly Valve (Metal-Seated, Worm-Gear Operated)

This ANSI-standard lug-type butterfly valve features a triple-offset metal-seated design for high-performance shut-off in demanding industrial applications. The three offsets eliminate sliding contact between disc and seat, providing zero rubbing, low operating torque, and repeatable bubble-tight metal-to-metal sealing over thousands of cycles. The lug-style body with threaded bolt holes allows the valve to be installed between flanges or used as a dead-end service valve with piping removed on one side.

The metal sealing ring is constructed from laminated stainless steel and graphite or hardfaced with Stellite, offering fire-safe performance and resistance to high temperatures, abrasion, and thermal cycling. The worm-gear operator with handwheel provides high reduction ratio and precise quarter-turn control. The valve is designed and manufactured to API 609 Category B and ASME B16.34, with face-to-face dimensions per ASME B16.10 and lug drilling per ASME B16.5 Class 150/300.

Typical applications include refineries, petrochemical plants, power generation, steam systems, thermal oil lines, and high-temperature process piping. Electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators can be mounted via an ISO 5211 interface.
