Large-Bore Cast Steel Trunnion Ball Valve (Flanged, Worm-Gear Operated)

This large-bore trunnion-mounted ball valve is designed for mainline oil, gas, water, and process pipeline service where reliable isolation and low operating torque are required at large sizes. The fixed ball is supported on upper and lower trunnions, directing line pressure into the body bearings rather than the seats, which reduces operating torque, extends seat life, and provides tight bidirectional shut-off even on large-diameter valves.

The valve features a two-piece cast body with raised-face flanged ends, a full-bore flow path, and a side-mounted worm-gear operator with large handwheel for easy manual operation. Standard features include spring-loaded self-relieving seats, blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, seat grease injection fittings, body drain and vent connections, and fire-safe seat design. The bare-metal finish is suitable for indoor installation or can be coated to customer specification.

Every valve is fully tested per API 598, including shell, high-pressure seat, and low-pressure gas seat tests. Designed to API 6D and ASME B16.34, with flanges per ASME B16.5. Body materials include WCB, LCC, WC6, CF8, CF8M, and duplex. Seat options include RPTFE, Devlon, PEEK, and metal-to-metal. Electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation can replace the gear operator.
