High Pressure Forged Steel Butt-Weld Ball Valve (Three-Piece Bolted Body)
This high-pressure ball valve is forged from solid bar stock into a three-piece block body design, delivering maximum wall thickness and pressure integrity for severe high-pressure service. The body halves are clamped together with through-bolts, providing a rigid, leak-free pressure boundary. Butt-weld ends are prepared to ASME B16.25 for direct welding into the pipeline, eliminating flange leakage paths in critical high-pressure systems.
The valve is available in floating ball design for smaller sizes or trunnion-mounted design for larger bore and higher pressure ratings. The top square stem accepts a lever handle, gear operator, or electric/pneumatic actuator. Standard features include a blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, and fire-safe seat design. Seat options include RPTFE, Devlon, PEEK, and metal-to-metal for high-temperature or abrasive service.
Typical applications include high-pressure hydraulic systems, wellhead and manifold service, chemical injection skids, hydrogen and CNG systems, and process piping in refineries and petrochemical plants. Every valve is fully tested per API 598 and designed to API 608 / ASME B16.34.
