Cast Steel Trunnion Ball Valve

This cast steel trunnion-mounted ball valve is engineered for high-pressure oil, gas, and petrochemical pipeline service where reliable shut-off and long-term performance are critical. The fixed ball design supports the sphere on upper and lower trunnions, so line pressure is absorbed by the bearing system rather than the seats. This results in low operating torque, predictable cycle life, and tight bidirectional sealing even at large bore sizes and high pressure classes.

The valve features a split-body flanged design with a cast WCB carbon steel body, RF or RTJ flange ends to ASME B16.5, and RPTFE or Devlon seats for bubble-tight shut-off. A worm-gear operator provides high reduction ratio and smooth quarter-turn control, making manual operation straightforward even on large sizes. Standard features include a blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, spring-loaded self-relieving seats, and a secondary stem seal for fugitive-emission control.

The trunnion design allows the valve to handle Class 150 through 2500 pressure ratings and sizes from NPS 2 to 48. The body is fully pressure-tested per API 598, and the valve is designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6D and ASME B16.34. Fire-safe configurations to API 607 and NACE MR0175 sour-service materials are available on request.
