Large-Bore Cast Steel Trunnion Ball Valve (RTJ Flanged, Support-Skid Mounted)

This large-bore cast steel trunnion ball valve is designed for mainline oil, gas, and storage service where high flow capacity and reliable shut-off are essential. The trunnion-mounted ball design fixes the sphere on upper and lower stems, directing line pressure into the body bearings rather than the seats. This architecture delivers low operating torque, long seat life, and tight double-block-and-bleed sealing even at large bore sizes and high pressure classes.

The valve features a split-body flanged construction with ring-type joint (RTJ) ends for high-pressure sealing. The cast WCB body is coated with a fusion-bonded epoxy finish for corrosion protection. A heavy-duty worm-gear operator with side-mounted handwheel provides high reduction ratio for easy manual operation of large valves. An integral support skid at the base transfers valve weight to the pipeline flange and floor, preventing sagging and reducing piping stress on large sizes.

Standard features include a blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, spring-loaded self-relieving seats, and a secondary stem seal. The valve is fully tested per API 598 and designed to API 6D / ASME B16.34. Fire-safe construction to API 607, NACE MR0175 sour-service materials, and extended bonnets for cryogenic or buried service are available on request.
