Cast Steel Floating Ball Valve
Cast Steel Floating Ball Valve (Flanged, Lever Operated)
This cast steel floating ball valve is a general-purpose industrial valve designed for on-off service in oil, gas, water, and chemical processing systems. The ball floats slightly downstream under line pressure, pressing against the downstream seat to provide tight, reliable shut-off. The cast WCB body offers good mechanical properties and cost-effectiveness for moderate pressure and temperature applications.
The valve features a two-piece flanged body design with NPT or RF flange ends. A lever handle provides simple 90-degree operation. Standard features include a blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, and PTFE seats for bubble-tight sealing. The ISO 5211 mounting pad allows easy conversion to electric, pneumatic, or pneumatic actuators without modification.
This valve is widely used in general industrial service, water treatment, HVAC, and process piping. It is available in fire-safe (API 607) and NACE MR0175 configurations on request. Fully tested per API 598 and designed to API 608 / ASME B16.34.
