Forged Steel Trunnion Ball Valve (WCB / A105, Flanged Ends)

This forged steel trunnion ball valve is manufactured from one-piece or three-piece forged bar stock, delivering uniform grain structure and heavy-wall integrity for high-pressure and severe-service applications. The trunnion-mounted ball design supports the sphere on fixed upper and lower stems, so line pressure is absorbed by the bearing system rather than the seats. This provides low operating torque, tight bidirectional shut-off, and long cycle life under Class 800 to Class 2500 pressure ratings.

The valve features an integral forged body with ring-type joint (RTJ) flange ends for reliable high-pressure sealing. The forged construction eliminates casting porosity and offers superior strength in comparison to cast alternatives. A heavy-duty worm-gear operator with large handwheel provides high reduction ratio and smooth quarter-turn control. Standard features include a blow-out proof stem, anti-static device, spring-loaded self-relieving seats, and cavity pressure relief.

Every valve is fully pressure-tested per API 598 and designed to API 6D / API 608 and ASME B16.34. Body materials include A105, F11, F22, F304, F316, and duplex. Seat options include RPTFE, Devlon, PEEK, and metal-to-metal. Fire-safe construction to API 607 and NACE MR0175 sour-service configuration are available on request.
